Which Tax Forms Can SmartWiz Read and Enter? Full 1040 Coverage List

Form and document coverage for Wizzy in TaxSlayer Pro Web, Drake Online, and OLT Pro, plus the current Drake Desktop early-access list.

SmartWiz's assistant, Wizzy, reads standard 1040 client documents and enters them inside your tax software. Coverage depends on the platform: TaxSlayer Pro Web, Drake Online, and OLT Pro support the broad individual 1040 workflow described below (W-2s, common 1099s, many credits, Schedule C, state returns, and more). Drake Desktop is in early access through the SmartWiz desktop app and currently supports a smaller, actively maintained form set listed in its own section. Business returns (1065s and 1120s) are in development for next season.

The lists below reflect the individual 1040 documents Wizzy commonly automates in browser-based software. Your exact supported set is confirmed in the product during onboarding.

FAQ

Is coverage the same in every software?

No. TaxSlayer Pro Web, Drake Online, and OLT Pro share the broader browser workflow above. Drake Desktop early access supports the shorter list in the Drake Desktop section until additional forms graduate from development.

What about a document that is not on this list?

Upload it anyway. Wizzy reads what it can and flags what it is not confident about, and the side-by-side review shows you exactly what was entered from where. The list above is what is fully supported today, and coverage grows regularly.

Does Wizzy handle rental income (Schedule E)?

Schedule E support is releasing in August 2026.

Are business returns supported?

Not yet. 1065s and 1120s are in development for next season. Today Wizzy covers individual 1040 federal and state returns.

What file formats can documents be in?

PDFs, photos, and scans. Clear, legible copies read most accurately, and anything uncertain is flagged for review rather than silently entered.
