Most tax pros who try ads measure the wrong thing and quit at the worst time.
The ad gets likes, so it feels like it is working. Or it gets nothing, so it feels like ads do not work. Neither number matters.
A beautiful ad that nobody books from is wasted money, and an ugly ad that fills a calendar is a win. The only numbers that matter are cost per lead, cost per booked call, and cost per client. One of our Friday sessions built an AI ad manager around exactly that discipline.
Sell the relief, not the service
The person scrolling past your ad is not looking for professional tax preparation. They are carrying a problem they have been avoiding: unfiled years, a scary IRS letter, a surprise bill, no idea what they can write off. The ad that stops their scroll names that problem in the words they would use, not in yours.
So every ad the system writes follows five parts: a hook that names the problem, two or three lines proving you understand their situation, the offer and why now, one piece of proof, and one single call to action. Never two.
And never one ad. The session produced three complete ads with different hook angles, because the whole point of a first test is finding out which message works. You spend a little, on your own client list and past engagers before any cold audience, and you know your kill criteria before a dollar moves.
The guardrails are half the product
A careless claim in a tax ad is not just a rejected ad, it is a professional risk. So the dangerous mistakes are blocked before anything runs: no refund guarantees or dollar promises, advances always carry if approved, no Social Security numbers or income fields in a lead form, and the landing page makes the same promise the ad did.
The last deliverable is the one most people forget: the follow-up message for when someone actually replies. A lead nobody answers is the most expensive kind of wasted money.
The room left with three finished ads in their own voice, targeting in plain English, a first-test budget with the math done out loud, and that follow-up ready to send.
Get the prompts, or get in the room
The full session, the replay, and all three prompts are free here: the business file, the ad-ready brand file, and the ad manager itself.
The replay shows the method. The room got their offer critiqued and their weakest link named before they spent anything. Every Friday at 12pm ET we build the next system, live and free, and you keep every prompt. Save your seat for this Friday.
